Meet Our Pastor
Reverend Dr. Pastor Ronae Cambridge, Sr. Pastor
Rev. Dr. Ronae Cambridge is pastor of Glory Temple Ministries, a church she co-founded with her husband, Franklyn Cambridge in 2000 in their home. Rev. Dr. Cambridge is an advocate, a great teacher and visionary who is compassionate and determined to impact her community for positive change and growth. She walks in an apostolic and prophetic mantle and believes in rightly dividing the Bible. A woman of integrity with a huge heart. She is in love with God and loves God’s people as she gives selflessly to her God given call. She is a native Floridian, a proud mother of four adult children, three grandchildren, and many spiritual sons and daughters. Rev. Dr. Cambridge received her education in the public school system of Miami-Dade County and graduated from Miami Northwestern. She is fortunate to have studied vocational office education while in high school where she excelled in typing and shorthand. While in her senior year of high school she interned for the late Honorable Gwendolyn Cherry, the first African American female legislator to serve in the Florida State House of Representatives. After high school, she went to work for the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office working her way up from legal secretary to being a top paralegal in her field. She retired from that office in 2005 so that she could fulfill her call to full-time ministry. In 2006 she went back to school to further her education and obtained a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies and then a master’s degree in social work both from Barry University in Miami Shores, Florida. In 2020 Pastor Ronae was honored for her community service and awarded an Honorary Degree of Doctor in Humanity from Glad Tidings Bible Institute of Florida.
She has been instrumental in expanding the ministry’s outreach services by establishing a community resource center that serves over five thousand individuals a month (source: Feeding South Florida) from the food pantry with boxed groceries and hot meals and delivers boxed groceries to those in need. Glory Temple through its outreach offers supportive counseling and mental health services. Other community programs that Rev. Dr. Cambridge has launched are: Healthy Plate Healthy Living, a program providing fresh produce in a food dessert; Signature Services for Seniors, a program that offers field trips, birthday parties, dances, addresses social isolation and promotes friendships among seniors; Pupo’s Annual Christmas Motorcycle Toy Giveaway, a partnership that gives over 200 toys to children in need; The Annual Back to School Jam, a program that gives out over 500 school supplies and back packs along with free haircuts for kids returning to school in the fall; God’s Grace, a program that assists those living with HIV/AIDS with food, clothing, additional testing and group meetings; Annual Thanksgiving Community Feast, a program that serves an elegant sit down dinner to over 300 people (consisting of families and the homeless) with the assistance of partnerships with the Miami Dolphins Foundation, Miami-Dade County Northside Police Department, Chen Medical Centers, Devoted Health Care, Aetna Health Care, Feeding South Florida, Farm Share, United We Can, NAACP, COCO Alliance and the North Dade Central Education Council, and Barry University School of Social Work and Barry University School of Nursing.
